I started this project as a way of catharsis, with the intention of finding the explanations that I couldn’t receive when I was a child. Through documents, images and my family album, I reconstructed my childhood, focusing on the relationship with my mother to understand the complexity of our bond.
Being observant of her story was undoubtedly the primary pathway to finding myself.
"Without rain nothing grows" became a journey of reconciliation with my roots. It allowed me to begin questioning all my inherited beliefs and patterns, finally recognizing myself as an individual capable of shaping its own fate, just as my mother wrote in a note: to disobey is essential to be free.
